Services
Individual & couples psychotherapy.
People come to therapy for many different reasons — anxiety, depression, loneliness, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or a sense that something is not quite right. Sometimes you may feel stuck or disconnected, even when life appears “fine” on the surface.
Who I work with
You do not need to fit neatly into a category to benefit from therapy.
In psychoanalytic psychotherapy, symptoms are not viewed simply as problems to eliminate. Often, they are meaningful signals that point toward deeper emotional conflicts, unmet needs, or patterns that have developed over time. Together, we approach these experiences with curiosity rather than judgment.
Our work is collaborative. Through conversation and reflection, we seek to better understand your emotional life, relationships, and recurring patterns — creating new possibilities for growth, choice, and change.
Some of the questions we may explore
- Why do I keep repeating the same painful relationship patterns?
- Why do I know what I should do, yet still cannot change?
- Why do I feel anxious or empty even when life seems fine?
- Why do certain criticisms affect me so deeply?
- Why do I long for closeness and fear it at the same time?
There are rarely simple answers. Yet by exploring them together in a thoughtful and trusting therapeutic relationship, a deeper understanding of yourself can emerge — along with greater freedom in how you live, relate, and experience your life.

I am currently an out-of-network provider. Many insurance plans offer reimbursement for out-of-network psychotherapy. If you would like to use your out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for submission to your insurer. I encourage you to contact your insurance company directly to determine your coverage and reimbursement rates.
Not sure if it’s the right fit?
Finding the right therapist matters.
While psychoanalytic psychotherapy may be a good fit for many people, others may be looking for a different approach or area of specialization. I am fortunate to work alongside a number of skilled colleagues and am happy to provide referrals, including to therapists who specialize in:
- Art Therapy
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
